Silicone for the medical sector

We design and manufacture silicone products for medical/healthcare applications

In the medical sector, many devices and their components are made from plastic and silicone. Specifically, medical-grade LSR silicone offers numerous advantages:

  • Does not contain peroxides, peroxide by-products, chlorophenyls, or PCBs.
  • Free from organic plasticizers, phthalates, and latex-based additives.
  • Contains no solvents.
  • Can be pigmented.
  • Suitable for ISO 10993-1 testing for both limited (up to 24 hours) and prolonged (up to 30 days) contact.
  • Meets requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization, irritation, intracutaneous reactivity, acute systemic toxicity, and subchronic toxicity (tested on implants).
  • Depending on the type, it can be certified according to USP Class IV, Ph. Eur., or EP (silicone elastomers for closures and piping for hexane-soluble and volatile substances).
  • No surface blooming of additives.
  • Ensures material consistency from batch to batch.
